With the presidential elections the topic du jour, 83% of American workers have political conversations at work, according to the career blog Zety.

Zety recently surveyed 1,000 workers about politics and the workplace and the consequences of being open about politics.

Of those who admitted to discussing politics, one-third of them feel uncomfortable at work due to political discussions, and nearly 13% feel bullied by co-workers due to their political beliefs, according to Zety.

Of them, nearly 80% of respondents said the president and elections were the most-discussed political issue at work. Other heated political conversations at work include gun control, racism, border security, LGBTQ rights, and abortion.
