BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Davies Group Ltd. has bought Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Johnson Claim Service Inc., the London-based claims management and insurance services firm announced on Monday.

Terms were not disclosed.

Johnson provides third-party administration, adjusting and appraisal services targeting the transportation sector, a Davies statement said.

Johnson’s 40 employees will join Davies, the statement said. Allen Johnson, president of Johnson, will have a claims management and consulting role and Bryan Johnson, the firm’s chief operating officer, will lead day-to-day operations.

The deal is Davies’ sixth purchase in the United States this year. Most recently, in September Davies bought TPA TriPlus Services Inc.
