Alliant hires former Gallagher exec for construction services post

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. of Newport Beach, California, has named former Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. executive Steve Pierce as executive vice president of Alliant Construction Services Group.

Mr. Pierce, who is based in Dallas, will help provide coverage for construction clients nationwide, Alliant said Thursday in a statement. He was most recently area managing director and national director wrap ups for Gallagher.

Peter Arkley, president of Alliant Specialty, said in the statement that Mr. Pierce has a “proven track record” and “wrap-up experience.”
