NFP Corp. on Monday named Tracy Stopford, a former executive at Willis Towers Watson PLC, and Kara Tencellent, a former executive at Coverys, as managing directors of its property/casualty specialty team.

Ms. Stopford and Ms. Tencellent will co-lead all operational and business development aspects of the risk and insurance strategy collective in NFP’s captive and alternative risk practice, NFP said in a statement Monday.

Both executives will report to Henry Lombardi, executive vice president and head of NFP’s property/casualty division, the New York-based broker said.

Ms. Stopford was previously senior vice president and chief operating officer for North America and India operations for the global captive practice at Willis Towers Watson.

As managing director, she will develop a broad range of alternative risk, captive consulting and management programs using technology and analytics, NFP said.

Ms. Tencellent was previously director of alternative risk solutions at Coverys and prior to that a vice president with the global captive practice at Willis Towers Watson.

In her new role, she will focus on expanding the specialty group’s domestic and international capabilities, NFP said.

NFP is the 13th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking, with 2019 revenue of $1.34 billion.
