Only 2% of COVID-19 of whistleblower complaints filed with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration have been resolved, according to analysis released last week by the National Employment Law Project.

NELP analyzed public data relating to COVID-19 retaliation complaints filed with OSHA from April through mid-August, finding more than 1,700 complaints were filed, with one in five were docketed for investigation and 35 complaints — representing 2% of the total filed — were resolved. More than 54% of the complaints were dismissed or closed without investigation, according to NELP.
