Surplus lines insurer names former Marsh exec as CEO

WestCongress Insurance Holdings LLC on Thursday named Steven H. Kerr president and CEO.
Until late last year, Mr. Kerr was a managing director at Marsh LLC.
Detroit-based WestCongress is the parent company of WestCongress Insurance Services, an excess and surplus lines insurer, and WestCongress Risk Services, a claims administration company.
WestCongress offers coverage for small and middle-market risks in the energy, artisan contractor and security industries, among other sectors, the insurer said in a statement.
