Daily ransomware attacks rise 50% in third quarter

A report by Israel-based Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. said that daily ransomware attacks increased 50% worldwide in the third quarter of the year, compared to the first half of the year, Times Now reports. The attacks targeted the United States the most, followed by India, Sri Lanka, Russia and Turkey.
