The king of all bizarre insurance commercials?

The only way the latest Insurance King commercials will have audiences roaring with laughter is if (1) they saw the Netflix show “Tiger King” and (2) they think it’s funny that “Diff’rent Strokes” star Todd Bridges is wearing a blond mullet wig, selling automobile insurance, providing commentary as Batman gets pulled over by police.

 

In total, there are five new commercials and like the wildly popular series that tells the true story of a charismatic tiger-zookeeper turned magician, turned inmate, there’s a lot going on here.

 

As reported by celebrity news site TMZ on Saturday, the Rockford, Illinois-based car insurance agency is aiming to entice new customers with a series of commercials filled with lion roars, wacky Tiger King references, and quotes from “Tiger King” star Joe Exotic.

 

Even Carole Baskin, exotic cat collector and Mr. Exotic’s nemesis on the show, gets a mention as the woman who possibly fed her missing husband to a tiger.
