Lockton launches national surety practice

Lockton Cos. LLC said Wednesday it has launched a national surety practice to be led by longtime executive Patrick Pribyl.
The Kansas City, Missouri-based brokerage said the national surety practice will support Lockton clients across all business lines, align resources and technical expertise, and focus on underwriting and marketing strategies as well as technology and analytics innovation.
Lockton’s surety business previously was organized across regional hubs.
Mr. Pribyl, who joined Lockton in 1992, previously led its largest surety operation in Kansas City, a spokeswoman said.
In his new role, Mr. Pribyl will report to Mark Moreland, an operating executive in Kansas City, the spokeswoman said.
