Chubb announces executive changes

Chubb Ltd. named Robert Poliseno chief operating officer, North America field operations, the insurer said in a statement Tuesday. 

 

Mr. Poliseno succeeds Jeffrey Updyke, who was named head of Chubb’s North America small business segment. Based in Philadelphia, Mr. Poliseno will oversee Chubb’s portfolio of personal and commercial insurance products and services to agents and brokers in 48 branch offices across North America, the statement said. He will also run Chubb Insurance Solutions Agency, producer advisor roundtables and agency education services.

 

Most recently, Mr. Poliseno was Chubb’s as senior vice president, mid-Atlantic regional executive officer for its mid-Atlantic region, a role that will be assumed by Melissa Scheffler, who will head local delivery of Chubb’s products in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia.

 

Mr. Poliseno and Ms. Scheffler, based in Pittsburgh, will report to Chris Maleno, senior vice president, Chubb group and division president, North America field operations, the statement said.

 

Ms. Scheffler most recently served as mid-Atlantic region chief operating officer, the statement said.
