Guy Carpenter hires UK property cat exec from Aon

Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, the reinsurance brokerage unit of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., named former Aon PLC executive Paul Miller to lead Guy Carpenter’s property catastrophe business for U.K., global specialties and key global clients, effective September 2021. 

 

At Aon, Mr. Miller was head of international catastrophe management, the statement said.

 

He will lead Guy Carpenter’s U.K. and Global Specialties property catastrophe broking, analytics and advisory platforms and will work with broking and analytics teams on key global accounts, Guy Carpenter said in a statement Monday.

 

Mr. Miller will report to Kevin Fisher, chairman of Guy Carpenter U.K., the statement said.
