Huge blast causes massive fire at oil plant

A massive fire broke out at India-based Oil and Natural Gas Corp.'s plant in Hazira, Surat, on Sep. 24, following a huge blast at two terminals, Ahmedabad Mirror reports. All terminals and plants located close to ONGC's plant were closed following the blast. A gassy smell engulfed the area for around 10 kilometers around the source of the fire.
