Hackers swipe personal data of 186,000 people

Australian government agency Service New South Wales suffered a cyber attack earlier this year, in which the personal data of 186,000 customers and staff were stolen, Sydney Morning Herald reported. Sophie Cotsis, a politician, said the hackers may have stolen people's birth certificates, credit card details, medical records, financial information and even sensitive legal enforcement information.
