Court to hear business interruption test case

Starting Oct. 2, Australia's New South Wales Court of Appeal will hear a test case to examine the application of infectious diseases exclusions in business interruption insurance policies, Mirage News reports. The Insurance Council of Australia's test case consists of two separate small business interruption claims that were lodged with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority as part of its dispute resolution process.
