COVID-19 to affect emerging markets most: Swiss Re

Swiss Re Ltd. expects the COVID-19 pandemic to affect insurers in emerging markets the most, 1asig reports. The reinsurer expects the pandemic to result in a 3.6% increase in gross written premiums this year and next in emerging markets. China is likely to be an exception with an average growth of 7%.
