Tom Clark, excess and surplus/specialty leader for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., plans to retire from the organization at the end of the year, the insurer said Tuesday.
Mr. Clark has served in his position since 2015, Nationwide said. He previously held the same role at Harleysville Mutual Insurance Co., which merged with Nationwide in 2012, in addition to serving as vice president of Harleysville’s New Jersey branch office, Nationwide said in its statement.
He has spent a combined 21 years with the two organizations and more than 33 years in the insurance industry.
Nationwide said a search for his replacement will begin immediately.
Larry Corsi has been named vice president of workers compensation at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., the Columbus, Ohio-based insurer said.
