Allianz's profit falls 4.3% in Asia Pacific

Germany-based insurer Allianz SE's profit declined 4.3% to €249 million ($295 million) in the Asia Pacific region in the first half of the year, Finews reported. Revenues increased 12.7% to €3.6 billion, with property/casualty revenues up 21.3% to €659 million.
