Insurer to appeal business interruption ruling

France-based insurer Albingia SA plans to appeal a Paris commercial court ruling ordering it to pay €450,000 ($514,181) to five hotels for business interruption claims related to the coronavirus pandemic, The Local reports citing Agence France-Presse. The insurer said that it disagreed with the court's interpretation of the insurance contract, arguing that the policies do not cover hotel closures decreed by the government.
