Groupon risk manager moves to claims role at Marsh

Former Groupon Inc. risk manager Liz Walker joined brokerage Marsh LLC on Monday as strategic claims and client engagement leader.
Chicago-based Ms. Walker will be responsible for executing Marsh’s digital claims strategy and advising its clients on complex claims strategy, a Marsh spokeswoman said in an email. She will report to Sri Sridharan, U.S. chief claims officer.
Ms. Walker joined Groupon in 2013 as senior counsel and later moved into risk management. For the past two years she was director, enterprise risk and global insurance at the Chicago-based online marketplace.
In 2018, Ms. Walker was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch.
