BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

McGriff, the retail insurance unit of Truist Insurance Holdings, formerly BB&T, has hired four veteran account executives for its transportation practice, the broker said in a statement Tuesday.

Annette Nitti, senior vice president in Aurora, Illinois; Josh Thompson, executive vice president in Little Rock, Arkansas; Daniel Johnson, vice president in Sherwood, Arkansas; and Holly Williams, assistant vice president in Little Rock; are joining McGriff directly from Aon PLC, according to an email from a spokesman.

They will be part of the risk management/complex program division of McGriff’s transportation practice, the statement said.

Ms. Nitti previously served as a senior account executive in Aon’s transportation practice.

Mr. Thompson previously served as executive director and broking leader for Aon’s transportation and logistics practice, according to biographies included with the statement.

Mr. Johnson previously served as a transportation account executive.

Ms. Williams previously served as a senior account manager for many of the firm’s largest transportation accounts at Aon.

McGriff’s transportation practice places more than $400 million in premium to the transportation insurance market, the statement said. McGriff serves clients in sectors including trucking, passenger, brokerage and private fleets ranging from small fleet operators to fleets of 20,000 units operating in the United States and around the world, the statement said.

All report to Scott Richards, executive vice president and transportation practice leader for McGriff, the spokesman said in his email.

McGriff comprises McGriff Insurance Services Inc. and McGriff, Seibels & Williams Inc., and was recently rebranded as such.

Truist Insurance Holdings is a wholly owned subsidiary of Truist Bank and only recently took on its new name after parent BB&T Corp. and SunTrust Banks Inc. merged to form Truist Financial Corp. last year.
