Insurer pays COVID-19 business interruption claims
Posted On: Jun. 26, 2020 7:51 AM CSTSouth Africa-based insurer OUTsurance Holdings Ltd. has set aside 220 million South African rand ($13 million) for business interruption claims related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Moneyweb reported. Natasha Kawulesar, spokesperson of the insurer, said that OUTsurance has already paid out nearly 135 such claims worth around ZAR 37 million to clients in the hospitality industry.
