Increased checks of Chinese electronics hits supply chain

The Indian Cellular and Electronics Association said that the government's adverse action against electronics imported from China has negatively impacted the supply chain, The Economic Times reported citing Indo-Asian News Service. If the supply chain is broken then there will be a severe shortage of essential communication equipment required for health, work-from home and online education goods such as smartphones, tablets and laptops, the industry body said.
