More than 3,000 tremors shake Iceland in three days

The Icelandic Met Office said that more than 3,000 tremors have shaken the northern coast of Iceland over the past three days, Deccan Herald reported citing Agence France-Presse. Authoroties have warned that volcano Grimsvotn could erupt for the first time since 2011 as high levels of sulfur dioxide indicated the presence of shallow magma.
