Aon cyber insurance expert joins Axis

Eric Seyfried, formerly a senior cyber insurance expert at Aon PLC, has joined Axis Insurance, the unit of Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. announced Monday.
Based in New York, Mr. Seyfried will be head of cyber U.S. open market for Axis, the insurer said in a statement.
He will be responsible for cyber and technology insurance strategy and oversee the underwriting results of Axis’ cyber, technology errors and omissions, media and miscellaneous professional liability products, the statement said.
Prior to joining Axis, he was managing director – East region leader and broking officer for Aon.
Before he joined Aon in 2014, he spent 13 years at Marsh LLC.
