Gallagher acquires Australian broker

U.S.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Australia-based CA Insurance Brokers for an undisclosed amount, Seeking Alpha reports. J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., chief executive of Arthur J. Gallagher, said that the acquisition will boost the broker's presence and capabilities in Brisbane, Queensland.
