Torneden leaves Aon for life insurer

Jennifer Torneden, formerly senior vice president and head of distribution and broker partnerships at Aon PLC, is joining life insurer Legal & General America Inc. as vice president of sales and strategic growth, effective Monday.
Ms. Torneden was one of Business Insurance’s 2019 Women to Watch.
In her new position for the Frederick, Maryland-based insurer, Ms. Torneden will lead strategic growth initiatives across the entire organization of its customers and partners, according to the statement issued by LGA.
