BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Woodruff Sawyer names Barrengos chairman

Woodruff Sawyer & Co. said Thursday that CEO Andy Barrengos has assumed the added title of chairman, while chairman Stan Loar has become chairman emeritus.

Mr. Loar joined the San Francisco-based broker and its board in 1976 and became the company’s CEO in 1995, vice chair in 2008 and chairman in 2013.

Mr. Barrengos joined Woodruff Sawyer in 1996 and was appointed CEO in 2016.
