More insurers sued over business interruption claims

A growing number of Canadian businesses are launching lawsuits against insurers for denying coverage for losses incurred due to coronavirus pandemic-related shutdowns, Now Toronto reported. One of the first Canadian entrepreneurs to launch a suit is Hemant Bhagwani, who owns about 30 fast-casual and sit-down restaurants across Ontario, all of which are insured by Allianz SE.
