Cybercrime group targets critical sectors

Nigerian cybercrime group SilverTerrier has launched a series of COVID-19-themed malware campaigns against organizations in critical sectors in Australia, Canada, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States, ComputerWeekly reports. The group has produced more than 170 distinct phishing emails targeting government, utilities, healthcare, insurance, and medical research and publishing sectors in these countries.
