Gas stations closed, unable to accept payment after cyber attack

Taiwan-based oil firm CPC Corp. suffered a malware attack on May 4, resulting in the crash of the company's website and temporary closure of its gas stations, Taiwan News reported. CPC gas stations across the country were unable to accept payment by CPC VIP cards or electronic transaction apps due to system outage.
