Lockton promotes Marrero to global role

Lockton Cos. LLC has named Hiram Marrero president, global growth officer, the brokerage said in a statement Wednesday.

Mr. Marrero, currently executive vice president and regional executive officer, will report to Chairman Ron Lockton.

Mr. Marrero, who joined the company in 2016, is based in Miami.

Said Taiym, currently chief digital officer, will assume the role of U.S. chief operating officer, reporting to Peter Clune. Mr. Taiym is based in Kansas City, Missouri, where the brokerage is headquartered.

Last November, Lockton announced Mr. Clune, U.S. president and chief operating officer, would become the brokerage’s global CEO effective May 1, 2020, as Ron Lockton assumed the role of chairman.
