Arch expects coronavirus claims of up to $145 million

Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Arch Capital Group Ltd. expects up to $145 million worth of claims related to the COVID-19 pandemic in the first quarter, Artemis reports. These claims are expected across the insurer's property/casualty insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance lines of business. Claims are likely to continue flowing in the second quarter.
