Coronavirus-themed cyber attacks rise

A new report found that government healthcare organizations and medical research universities in Canada, in addition to research institutes in Asia have been targeted by coronavirus-themed cyber attacks, Pharma Phorum reported. Most of these incidents were phishing campaigns that took the form of either ransomware attacks or malware designed to gather information.
