Belgian firm to be prosecuted over alleged acid leak

Ltd. for an acid leak from its Port Pirie lead smelter, ABC News reports. The EPA says that Nyrstar polluted the environment by discharging, or failing to prevent the discharge of sulfuric acid into a creek between Jan. 31 and Feb. 3 of last year.
