Fiat Chrysler halts production as coronavirus hits supply chain

U.K.-based Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV has temporarily stopped production of the Fiat 500L compact minivan at its Kragujevac plant in Serbia due to disruption in the supply of audio system components from China amid the coronavirus outbreak, Car Scoops reported citing Autonews. The company plans to restart production later in the month and does not expect the disruption to affect total production forecasts for February.
