Iranian telecommunications infrastructure experienced the largest cyber attack in the country’s history on the eve of a failed satellite launch, The National reports citing The Financial Tribune. Iran's telecommunications infrastructure suffered a massive distributed denial of service attack on Feb. 8, leaving many people without internet or mobile phone services for several hours. While some networks were partially recovered within an hour, others remained offline for up to seven hours. Iran has faced an increasing number of cyberattacks.
