CNA names former QBE exec as global claims chief

CNA Financial Corp. named Daniel Franzetti, former chief operating officer of QBE North America, as executive vice president of worldwide claim.
Mr. Franzetti will be responsible for the insurer’s global claims operations and report to Dino E. Robusto, chairman and CEO of CNA, the insurer said in a statement Wednesday.
Andrew Pinkes, who formerly held the claims chief job, left CNA last year, according to his LinkedIn profile, and is now a senior adviser at management consultant McKinsey & Co.
Mr. Franzetti joined QBE North America from Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. as chief claims officer in 2016. In 2018, he was named chief operating officer of the New York-based unit of Sydney-based QBE Insurance Group Ltd.
