Business Insurance to host cannabis risk management event

Registration is open for Business Insurance’s two-day conference examining risk management and insurance issues for the cannabis and hemp industry.

Taking place in San Francisco April 2-3, the Business Insurance Cannabis & Hemp Conference West will include off-site tours of three Bay Area cannabis facilities and a full day of educational sessions.

The opening session will feature Lindsay Robinson, executive director of the California Cannabis Industry Association, who will discuss the state of the cannabidiol industry.

Other sessions will address cannabis in the workplace, supply chain risk, cannabis underwriting, cannabinoid production risk management, the vape crisis and other topics focusing on insurance and risk management in the sector.

Early bird registration discount is available through Feb. 28.
