Philippines to set up cat insurance facility for private sector
Posted On: Jan. 31, 2020 5:09 AM CSTThe Insurance Commission of the Philippines has signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a catastrophe insurance facility for the private sector, Asia Insurance Review reported citing Business Mirror. The IC has signed the MoU with the Philippine Insurers and Reinsurers Association and National Reinsurance Corporation of the Philippines for a facility that would cover damage to private assets from typhoons, floods and earthquakes.
