Regulator fines telecom firms $15 million

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets has imposed €13.2 million ($15.23 million) in combined fines on four major telecom companies for providing misleading product information on their websites, NL Times reported. T-Mobile Netherlands B.V., Koninklijke KPN N.V., Vodafone Libertel B.V. and Tele2 Netherlands Holding B.V. are the companies fined by the Dutch regulator. Highest fine of €3.9 million has been levied on T-Mobile.
