Newly found crude oil smudges threaten Brazilian coast once again

New smudges of crude oil were spotted at some beaches in the northeast Brazilian state of Ceará on Dec. 30, Reuters reported. About two months ago, Brazil recorded a major oil spill from an unknown source that threatened marine life, fishing and tourism on its northeast coast.
