VW fined nearly $90 million in Australia

Germany-based automaker Volkswagen AG has been fined $125 million Australia ($86 million) in Australia for misleading consumers about its diesel emissions, ABC News reports. Volkswagen did not disclose to the Australian government that its cars had two-mode software that hid the true nature of nitrogen oxide emissions.
