Boeing 737 Max 8 production halt to hit South Korean airlines

South Korean airlines are expected to take a hit from U.S.-based aerospace firm The Boeing Co.'s decision to temporarily halt production of its 737 Max 8 aircraft, The Korea Times reports. South Korean carriers were scheduled to take delivery of 108 737 Max planes by 2027, with Jeju Air Co. Ltd. having ordered 50 jets, and Korean Air Lines Co. Ltd. ordering 30.
