Nissan faces $22 million for underreporting chairman’s pay

A fine of 2.4 billion Japanese yen ($22 million) could be imposed on Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. on the recommendation of Japan’s Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, The Japan Times reported. Nissan is being fined for allegedly underreporting the compensation of its ex-chairman Carlos Ghosn for years.
