Brokerage CAC Specialty said Wednesday it has formed a professional liability and cyber practice group.
The group is responsible for the design, placement and ongoing service of complex professional liability, cyber and technology-driven risks and specializes in creating bespoke solutions for clients to insure what were previously deemed uninsurable risks, CAC said in a statement.
Adam Lantrip, formerly with Birmingham, Alabama-based McGriff Seibels & Williams Inc., has been named senior vice president and leader of the practice group.
Laura Burke, also formerly with McGriff Seibels, and Sam Levine, formerly with Marsh LLC unit Marsh JLT Specialty, are joining the team as well, according to the statement.
CAC Specialty was formed by Birmingham, Alabama-based brokerage Cobbs Allen earlier this year. In November, it recruited former Ryan Specialty Group LLC underwriter Jordan B. Tamchin to head the tax insurance department of its transactional liability practice.
CAC Specialty, part of Birmingham, Alabama-based Cobbs Allen, hired Jennifer Schaeffer from Marsh JLT Specialty to fill a newly created senior vice president position, Cobbs Allen said in a statement Friday.
