Marsh names global leader for Bluestream platform

Marsh LLC on Tuesday said it has named Anita Sathe global leader of Bluestream, its cloud-based digital broker platform for the affinity market, and leader of its U.S. affinity business.

Ms. Sathe will focus on driving affinity and sponsored programs in the U.S. and accelerating the growth and development of its Bluestream platform globally, Marsh said in a statement.

Ms. Sathe is assuming an expanded role, according to a Marsh spokeswoman. Michael Westwood, Marsh’s U.S. affinity leader, has left the company and Ms. Sathe is taking on that role plus the new global Bluestream leadership role.

Ms. Sathe, who is based in Portland, Oregon, reports to Kevin Tobin, president of Marsh’s insurance services group.

Ms. Sathe most recently served as chief strategy officer for San Francisco-based CoverHound Insurance Co.

Marsh launched Bluestream in November 2018. In June, Eos Venture Partners Ltd. said it and Marsh would collaborate on the Bluestream platform.
