France to stress test insurers' climate risks

Francois Villeroy de Galhau, governor of the central bank of France, said that the Bank of France would subject insurers to climate change stress tests next year, Financial Post reports citing Reuters. "This will be very important progress in order to access the kind of climate risks that are already nascent in insurers' balance sheets," Mr. Villeroy de Galhau said.
