Axa to launch parametric risk transfer and assistance service
Posted On: Nov. 29, 2019 5:14 AM CSTFrench insurer Axa SA plans to launch a parametric risk transfer and assistance service called FastCat in December, Artemis reported. The service will use drones and satellite images to provide weather alerts and constant real-time assessments about natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, cyclones, and wildfire. FastCat will also provide climate-related insurance.
