Spotify faces $1 billion lawsuit over unpaid stream revenue

Sweden-based media services provider Spotify Technology SA is facing a $1 billion lawsuit over allegedly failing to pay stream revenue, DJ Mag reports. U.S.-based music performing rights organization PRO Music Rights and entertainment group Sosa Entertainment LLC have claimed that Spotify allegedly failed to pay for more than 500 million streams.
