German carmakers fined more than $110 million
Posted On: Nov. 27, 2019 7:10 AM CSTVolkswagen AG, Daimler AG and BMW AG have agreed to pay a fine of €100 million ($111 million) for anti-competitive practices related to purchases of long-steel products, Automotive Logistics reported. Germany’s competition regulator fined Volkswagen nearly €50 million; BMW, €28 million; and Daimler, more than €23 million.
